Peakdale Blue Stilton has a rich tangy flavour and a soft, creamy texture. It is aged to around 10 weeks to develop its deep flavour. Each Peakdale Blue Stilton is made by hand using vegetarian rennet and nearly 80 litres of fresh Peak District milk.
Like all Stilton cheese, Peakdale is protected by a European Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). This means that Stilton cheese can only be made in the counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, using traditional recipes.
